The 黄色短视频 St. Pete Center for Civic Engagement and Social Impact gathers the Eckerd community, local government, and neighboring individuals and organizations under one banner to create mutually beneficial research, teaching and service opportunities.
Faculty, students, nonacademic experts and advocates connect through us, receive resources and grants, and collaborate to address real-time problems facing the greater Tampa Bay area.
Addressing real-time problems
Our programs highlight social issues with wide impacts in four key categories:
- Advancing human rights, dignity and opportunity
- Building a productive, equitable and inclusive economy
- Fostering arts, culture and innovation
- Promoting environmental resilience, sustainability and justice
Much of this work happens in gardens, boardrooms, city centers and around kitchen tables across the community鈥攏ot just in classrooms and laboratories.
